Job title: Beverage Technologist/Developer
Reports to: Applications Manager
Job grade:  C

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will:

• Lead beverage application briefs (ABs) and help manage workload and priorities with rest of team. Supporting Internal and external customers.
• Manage proactive projects on trend presentations, functional ingredients, health & wellness, recipe development, support Annual Plan and campaigns.
• Work alongside the flavourists ensuring new flavour concepts from DBs work in customer application. Showcase new flavour and flavour ingredients.
• Increase recipe portfolio in alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Conduct in-house training to develop beverage skills and knowledge in Creative Solutions team and support/grow the beverage sector of the business.
• Support marketing with social media campaigns through product selection and recipe formulation and LH Branding.
• Streamline and Improve recipe development and processes.

Essential criteria for this position are:

• Proven industrial/ manufacturing beverage experience (ideally in soft drink & alcoholic beverage sectors)
• Extensive lab scale experience
• Recipe development experience in wide range of beverage types (alcoholic and Non-alcoholic, using a variety of ingredients (functional, juices, etc).
• Project management skills and experience
• Beverage regulations experience/knowledge.
