As a result of the horrific events unfolding in Ukraine and the needless suffering of the Ukrainian people, Lionel Hitchen has taken the decision to suspend all commercial activities with Russia.
We can reassure our customers that the business is taking every reasonable step to maintain continuity of supply to our customers given the potential for disruption to supply of certain raw materials. Because of the seasonal nature of many of our raw materials we generally maintain robust levels of stock and this is no different for those sourced from these regions. Where we have alternative origins for supply, we have already made those choices.
We also have a small number of raw materials which are sourced exclusively from Russia & Ukraine. For products including these raw materials, we are exploring secondary sources where ever possible and reviewing formulations where necessary.
We will continue to monitor developments and will provide further information in due course.
