Orange and Cardamom Muffins


  • 125g Self raising flour (23.72%)
  • 125g Soft unsalted butter (23.56%)
  • 125g caster sugar (23.65%)
  • 2 large eggs (approximately 120g – 22.7%)
  • 25g full fat milk (4.7%)
  • 2tsp Baking powder (8.4g –  1.58%)

Orange and Cardamom Muffins Recipe

Delicious Orange and Cardamom Muffins recipe made with our Blood Orange Flavour and Cardamom Oleoresin!


1. Preheat the oven to 160°C

2. Before weighing out the ingredients weigh the kitchen aid bowl

3. Using the Kitchen Aid cream together the butter and sugar

4. Add the flour, baking powder, eggs and milk and beat until just combined

5. Weigh the bowl again to work out overall weight of the batter

6. Add the flavours and mix until all combined, be careful not to over mix as this will knock out all the air

7. Weigh 70g of batter into each cupcake case

8. Bake in the oven for 20 – 25 minutes, they should be risen, golden brown and a skewer should come out clean

9. Move onto a cooling rack to cool completely
