Job title: Lead Production Technician – Distillation Team (late shifts only, 2-10pm)
Reports to: Production Team Leader
Job grade: B
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure safety, food quality and product quality standards are met daily.
- Provide operational support to the Team Leader and technicians within Distillation.
- Dedicated “responsible person” for site incident and emergency for late shift.
- Maintaining HACCP and GMP standards.
- Adherence to daily check routines and scheduled work.
- Processing of admin and Unity (works orders).
- Training technicians within Distillation.
- Distillation, compounding, bulking and packing including the preparation, manufacture and completion of distilled and compounded orders.
- Supporting the team to meet production targets.
- Provide Team Leader cover (Tier 1s and Production Meeting)
- Supporting and driving WCM.
Essential knowledge and skills:
- Numerate and literate.
- Basic IT skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of food hygiene.
- Understanding of general manufacturing processes.
- Basic leadership skills.
