Lime and Strawberry Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 250g white caser sugar – 98.6%
  • 3.5g trips of lime peel – 1.38%
  • 60ml juice of 3 limes
  • 250ml water

Lime and Strawberry Sorbet Recipe

Indulge in a refreshing and vibrant treat with our Lime and Strawberry flavours by creating a delightful Lime and Strawberry Sorbet. This recipe combines the zesty freshness of lime with the sweet juiciness of ripe strawberries to produce a sorbet that bursts with summer flavours.

Method

1. Heat 250ml water, the sugar and the lime peel in a small pan until the sugar has dissolved then bring the mixture to the boil.

2. Cook for 3 minutes then turn off the heat and leave to cool. Pick out the lime peel and discard.

3. Add lime juice to the sugar mixture.

4. Pour into a freezer box and freeze for 1hr 30 minutes then mix up with a whisk o break up and incorporate ice crystals, then return to the freezer.
