14th July 1997 as a General Process Worker (now Production Technicians) and worked my way up over the years to Production Supervisor

What is a typical day like for you?

Every day is different, some days I can be making products and other days I can be working on projects

What would you say is the best part of your job?

Working with different ingredients and making wonderful products.

What sort of training have you received since you started?

I have been here over 20 years, there are so many! Supervisor management training, IOSH, food safety and COSHH to name a few

What is your favourite food and drink?

Italian food and gin!

Advanced Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, several market research /data platforms.

C = Champions Change. Because I am always looking to challenge why something is done the way it is, to simplify into a more logical and efficient process.

25th August 2015 as a Maintenance Engineer

What is a typical day like for you?

My day-to-day work changes, from planned maintenance work, breakdowns to project work. The best part of my day is that it’s never the same!

What would you say is the best part of your job?

I like hands on work and taking things apart!

Why do you like working at Lionel Hitchen?

I believe it’s very friendly and anybody regardless of position will stop and have a chat with you. I also enjoy all the benefits we get throughout the year.

What benefit do you most enjoy?

Yearly bonus and a turkey, chicken or hamper at Christmas.

What sort of training have you received since you started?

I have been on several training courses since I joined including D6 boiler, welding TIG L2, F-Gas CAT 1 and electrical fundamentals, to name a few.

What is your favourite food and drink?

A decent burger.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Spending time at the gym, on my bike or anything with cars!
